Social wellness is achieved through the pursuit of close, personal relationships and community involvement.

Social wellness has many benefits: People with strong support systems report fewer stress symptoms and sickness, are less likely to experience loneliness, and tend to hold positive attitudes towards themselves, others and the community as a whole.
