Caregiving Tools

The resources and tools available in this section can assist caregivers and people being cared for to manage their care planning and daily living needs.  There are also many valuable sources of support to help caregivers to meet their own needs  and  to reduce the risk of burnout.  Caregivers can also get help to communicate effectively with family members and physicians.  Links to resources are provided for each topic.

The Public Health Agency of Canada provides a comprehensive list of fact sheets on injury prevention in the home, safe living for seniors, tips for adults living with age related chronic diseases, and utilizing technology for assistance.
