Facility Inspection Reports
B.C.'s Health Authorities post inspection reports of care facilities on their websites.
- Interior Health Authority
- Fraser Health Authority
- Vancouver Coastal Health Authority
- Vancouver Island Health Authority
- Northern Health Authority
We encourage the public to not rely solely on inspection reports to determine the best facility for their loved ones. There are many factors to consider in choosing a facility that is going to best meet the needs of each individual person, and the results of an inspection report is only one such factor. Families can contact Licensing or the local Home and Community Care offices in each health authority for information on how to choose a good care facility. Families are also encouraged to visit care facilities in their community, observe the care and talk to staff to help determine if that facility seems to meet the needs of the person who may be placed in the facility.
